Summary: The Studies were started under the concultancy of Prof.Dr. Havva İşkan and were completed as a doctoral thesis in 1998. After this date, the Patara excavations continued to deliver terracotta figurines from the Hellenistic and Early Roman Period. In paticular vestiges of different typology found in the excavations of 1999, 2000, and 2004, gave an opportunity to revise the said doctoral thesis and consequently, the entire literature relating to the subject published after 1998 was reviewed and included in this study.
