In 1951 in The Hague by a number Pulchri members, Theo Bitter, Jan van Heel, Nol Kroes Schrofer Willem de Wit and French artists group 'Verve was founded. A group of approximately rectified, with essentially figurative artists, focusing on Paris oriented. The group were exhibited for the first time as a group in 1951 at Esher Surrey Art Galleries.
