Bu yayın Mehmet Özdoğan’ın 1967 yılında Van-Hakkari bölgesinin bir kısmını Muvaffak Uyanık’la birlikte, bir kısmını ise tek başına yaptığı yüzey araştırması ve gezisi ile ilgili yazdığı raporun yarım yüzyıl sonra farklı bir gözle elden geçirilerek kitaba dönüştürülmüş hâlidir. Söz konusu rapor 1967 yılında, Van-Hakkari bölgesi tarihöncesi kültürleriyle ilgili bilgilerin yok denecek kadar az olduğu bir dönemi yansıtması ve 50 yıl öncesi arkeolojisinin bir fotoğrafını vermesi açısından ilginç bir belge niteliğindedir. |
